HALLOWEEN MEME

Although Halloween is not coming to Neornithes anytime soon, the day of Hallow's Eve is approaching in the real world in just a few days! Which is why, due to idle curiosity and by request, we have a Halloween-themed meme. Even the prison is decorated for the fine day, thanks to your dear Warden. But be afraid: there might be some parts of the prison that are especially crafted to be a little spooky.

There's even a party!

▶ PROMPTS:

① PARTY. All the prisoners have been invited to a party! It's full of fun games, food, drinks. Make sure you come in costume! ... Or not. Feel free to have your characters come in a costume either they chose or someone else chose for them.
② HAUNTED HOUSE. The Warden has decided to create a Haunted House for this specific day! It's up to you whether your characters are either visiting it, working for it (after all, the haunted house is open to the public), or were coerced into it.
③ TRICK OR TREAT. Everyone knows that Halloween's a time for people to get candy! Go ahead and visit your fellow inmates before curfew ends - unless you're in the G Block - and get tricks or perhaps even a good treat.
④ PICK YOUR OWN ADVENTURE. Have some sort of prompt you want to play out that's 2spooky that I didn't come up with it? Feel free to play it out!

[ Philip laughs. ] My, you're jumpy, Shotaro.

[Working the haunted house. His costume is some freaky demon thing with a bitching glove to reach out and scare people with. He may be enjoying this too much. Evil laughter is go.]

[yokubo]

[ For his first time, Eiji was going through the haunted house alone. He wanted to see if he could convince someone to go through it with him later, but first he wanted to be sure it was actually safe. The Warden's idea of scary might involve some pretty dangerous things... ]

[birdinhand]

[Demon claw grabbing ur face, Eiji, accompanied by deep maniacal laughter.]

[ Being grabbed like that caught him off guard. Eiji screamed. He screamed loud. After he realized screaming wasn't going to get the claw off his face, he grabbed it with both hands and flung it off. His eyes were still wide and he was breathing way too fast. ]

[birdinhand]

[And the maniacal laughter turns into a genuinely amused cackle that should sound pretty familiar. He grabs hold of Eiji by the shoulder and pulls him into a moderately better-lit area of the haunted house.] Mwahahaha!

[yokubo]

[ And he started screaming again, until he realized just who that voice belonged to. When he turned around he still looked like he was scared to death. ]

Not funny, Ankh!

[And he's still laughing.] You've got a good face for this, Eiji!

[yokubo]

Ah, mou! That was really mean!

[birdinhand]

It's a haunted house! [Holds his hand up to show off the glove, looking smug.] They're not bad at this.

[yokubo]

Still, you're not supposed to grab people.

[ He folded his arms and was about to pout, but the weird claw Ankh was wearing caught his attention again. ]

What's that supposed to be, anyway? It's way freaky.

[birdinhand]

I made an exception for you.

Some kind of demon maybe. But it's really cool. [Rolls his fingers up and then back into a fist again.]

Wow, thanks Ankh. [ Mumble mumble... ]

Why would you want to be a hand demon though?

I didn't pick it, the people running this thing did. I wasn't going to do it either but it's actually kind of fun.

Maybe I won't come back after all...

[birdinhand]

Don't be a wimp. [hard poke in the shoulder with that claw]

[ Again, he shoved claw away. ]

I was going to bring Hina-chan but not if you're going to be super creepy.

[ One glance at Shotaro's costume made him pull a face. ]

Philip got to you too?

[ Luckily, Philip's suggestion to Ryu was just a standard police uniform. He'd really dodged a bullet by the looks of things... ]

Something about how the rarity of a male calico cat suits my unpredictable nature. It can be really hard to tell him no.

[Someone's really enjoying being a part of the haunted house. He's got a whole costume, but his feature of the haunted house is to just appear to be a fist-shaped doorknob until someone tried to turn it. A fist something like this. This isn't suspicious at all. Totally normal doorknob. Nevermind the insidious chuckling beyond it.]

[ now that's a rather colorful and questionable looking doorknob. Christa does flinch at a lot of the jump scares, but doesn't seem to be doing badly at the haunted house at all. hmm, there doesn't seem to be an exit to this room other than this knob.
